Author's Note: This story sprung forth thanks to a prompt for the [livejournal.com profile] doctor_rose_fix Spring Fling Fixathon made by [livejournal.com profile] mahmfic. It caught me hook, line, and sinker as Manni the Muse fished it in.
This is the first time in a while Manni has spat out a whole story in such a short amount of time. I was hoping to never again post an in-progress story that I hadn’t finished, but ideas are brimming and I don’t think it will be too long.
