Joining the insanity...

I followed in who_in_whoville, larxene_12, and kelkat9's footsteps and signed up for the NaNoWriMo. I have lots of ideas for continuous fics and series, so I'm going to take this as an incentive to try and have a Doctor Who series out by the end of the year. I've been trying to start this fic for a while, so we'll see how it goes.

The only thing I'll say is that it's a 10/Rose fic and...it's basically a rewrite of season 2. Some of the episodes will be out of order and many scenes will be rewritten. It starts the day after The Christmas Invasion and may very well continue throughout... NOT TELLING! :P (More info on my page.)

Let's hope Manni is with me all of next month.

I don't know if the first part of the series will even cover the 50,000 words which is why I just put the title of the series.

First banner I've ever made. Using Paint. I totally blame Paint for any blatant horrors. I tried to center the title more, but by then I didn't have a blank copy so I just stuck 'Series' over Queen Victoria and every time I tried to remove the title completely so I could try and center it, the background looked weird. Eh, not bad for a first try, me thinks. I'll try and fix it again some other time.

I'm glad! :) I am too! It's the biggest project I've had in a while, the biggest being a 60,000+ Sailor Moon fic that's also still ongoing, but has had many long hiatuses thanks to my new-ish Doctor Who addiction. XD

I need to read An Unexpected Victorian Holiday so I can dive into the sequel once you start posting! I'm planning to read as much fic as possible this month so I can concentrate on this fic for NaNo.

Thanks for this, Dev! I'ma give it a try. The banner was the first one I'd made, but it's technically for the first part of the series, not as a whole. Hopefully I can make a better one (even slightly better) soon!

Well you've seen the stuff I've made for BWR right? The headers we've used over there, and banners for ficathons etc, were almost all made using that software

Oooh, awesome! Hopefully I can figure it out. Yumi had asked about making banners and Jer suggested pizap. I just made one for my in-progress fic using it. Seems fairly simple... Now if I can just find pics I want to use! So many fluffy moments! Hee.

well, the bigger and better quality the original pic is the easier they are to work with as you can see finer details much clearer. You know about Medusa Cascade right?
