I had a very busy week. I was awake early to help dad (okay, so it was only two days, but it still counts!), worked two extra hours this week (*gasp* so much), went to sleep earlier than usual (yes, before 2AM is early!), did my laundry (and even put it away in the same week!), practiced playing the piano (just a bit), and hung out with my friends AND I still managed to read a lot of fanfics (and even finish a one-shot myself). Granted, most of them were chapters, short one-shots, one-shots, or short stories, but I think this is the most fics I've read and reviewed in one week! These were my absolute favorites-
Side note: I read a lot of fics this week, but I still have a few of challenge 90 and 91 left. Mostly the ones that were just uploaded this week and any continuous ones.
Rated M, but not explicit. Two chapters and very lovely done.
ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING SERIES I'VE EVER READ. So, it's 9/Rose AS A SEASON 2 REWRITE!!! This was recommended to me and I basically ignored my set to-read list of the week for this. Unfortunately it's not completed (goes up to The Idiot's Lantern), but it's absolutely worth it! The characterization in a 10th Doctor setting is so amazingly done.

Again, I think the authoress speaks for herself, but OMG, THIS WAS JUST SO, SO... !!! *Clutches heart*
Of the Universe (Series) by ofalexandra
Made up of long one-shots. It's post-JE, has three parts so far (parts 1 & 3 are all ages; part 2 is adult) and is written so brilliantly! They're emotional roller coasters, I will warn, but so worth it!!!
Fluff, fluff, fluffy~.
How it could've all gone wrong (and most likely did!). How Pete's world might have ended up without a Doctor and a Rose.
Just what I said in my review: Beautifully painted words.
Post-TSP. Disney anyone? Bit of angst with a fluffy ending while still maintaining 'reality'.
As I told her, I've given up trying to avoid her fics. She enticed me with The Lost Day and was a goner. READ THE BEST ROSE-AS-THE-DOCTOR AND THE-DOCTOR/JOHN-SMITH-AS-THE-COMPANION FIC EVER!!! (Okay, I may be biased and it doesn't help that this is the first fic of its sort that I've read... XD)
10 and Rose on Planet Disney. Need I say more? Hee.
Side note: I read a lot of fics this week, but I still have a few of challenge 90 and 91 left. Mostly the ones that were just uploaded this week and any continuous ones.

Date: 2011-12-20 04:39 am (UTC)Thank you! And I only seem to be able to write happy fluff fics when Jack is involved. I'm not sure why this is the case but I've definitely noticed that trend in my fics.
